Dr. Jayaram Subramaniyan

Dr. Jayaram attained his bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBBS) in 2013 from Saveetha Medical College, followed by his Master's degree in Family Medicine from Sundaram Medical Foundation Dr. Rangarajan Memorial Hospital, both situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. With over a decade of experience as a Medical Practitioner, he commenced his career as a Family Medicine Consultant at Kamakshi Memorial Hospital, a 300-bedded tertiary health center in Chennai, from 2019 to 2021. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Senior Consultant in Family Medicine at Deepam Medfirst Hospital, Chennai, in 2021. In 2022, he joined the esteemed Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, where he led the Preventive Health department until 2023. Subsequently, he transitioned to Apollo Hospital, Chennai, serving as an Associate Consultant in Family Medicine until January 2024, before relocating to the UAE. Dr. Jayaram was honored with the MNAMS fellowship from the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India) and was acclaimed as 'the best family doctor' by a Chennaibased NGO in 2023 for his compassionate patient care and societal commitment. He has also completed a certificate course on "Evidence-based Diabetes Management and Gestational Diabetes" and presented research papers at the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) and the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Possessing exceptional clinical diagnostic and management skills, Dr. Jayaram specializes in lifestyle disease management and prevention. He has extensive experience in treating various health conditions, including non-communicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular diseases, as well as communicable diseases such as fever, malaria, dengue, and scrub typhus. Furthermore, he is adept at managing respiratory disorders such as asthma, COPD, allergies, and chest pain, along with gastrointestinal conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), dyspepsia, ulcers, and common dermatological conditions acne, urticaria, rashes, fungal infections etc. Additionally, he excels in preventive medicine, encompassing adult vaccinations, health and fitness screening, and comprehensive check-ups. Dr. Jayaram is proficient in English, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
